REMI    and  STAF  2 listening systems

Low consumption mini receiver,  with a fixed driven quartz reception frequency. Sensitivity: higher than 0,5 µV. FM Demodulation, narrow band. Listening by headphones, walkman type. The receiving aerial is designed for confidentiality; integrated into the headphone. A two speed micro-cassette tape recorder is connected to the receiver. System for listening-in at a distance, using the telephone lines as the transmission medium. A micro-transmitter, powered by the line, is designed to be hidden in a connecting plug, or in a telephone unit. When the line is free, it becomes active and it transmits the sounds of the environment ; but when the lines are busy, it cuts off to avoid being discovered. The liaison may be made over several tens of kilometres.

Système d'écoute à distance, utilisant la ligne téléphonique comme moyen de transmission. Le micro-transmetteur, alimenté par la ligne, est conçu pour être dissimulé dans une prise de raccordement ou dans un poste téléphonique. Lorsque la ligne est libre, il devient actif et transmet par celle-ci les sons environnants. Lorque la ligne devient occupée, il s'interrompt pour éviter tout repérage. L'écoute s'effectue par raccordement d'un boîtier amplificateur sur la ligne correspondante. La liaison est possible sur plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres.
